Job Description
As the Sales Operations Coordinator at Kaggle, you will work closely with the Energy team to support all sales activities.
You are a goal-oriented individual who excels in a team centered environment but can also work independently with little hand-holding. You thrive in a fast-paced team where flexibility is key. You are dedicated to operational excellence and are extremely organized and attentive to details.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own Kaggle’s customer relationship management (CRM) tools and processes
- Research and track the latest Energy trends, background news, target companies and people
- Manage the Energy Sales Pipeline process
- Assist with client invoice/reconciliation process
- Manages relevant product and technical marketing materials ensuring all materials up to date with the latest sales strategy and technical capabilities
- Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and organizing requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
- Work with management to maintain and refine tools and process to gauge overall effectiveness of Sales process and team
- Support Sales and Client Services teams in all daily activities, including sales requests/account management, reporting/analysis, and internal/external meeting preparation
Minimum Qualifications:
- College degree and 2+ years experience in a sales support and/or marketing roles
- Experience coordinating company participation and presence at industry events
- Excellent verbal and written communication, quantitative and presentation skills
- Must be a team player and have the ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.
- Adaptable and eager to learn and implement new processes and technologies
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills; meticulous attention to detail; organized and extremely productive
- Advanced skills using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google Docs, and at least one prior CRM tool.
*Interest in or experience with Data Science and/or Oil & Gas is a plus.
